Whether wandering the halls of the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago or surveying for eagle eyries in the high desert of southwestern Idaho, I’ve found joy in pursuing experiences that foster my curiosity for the natural world. I received my BS in Environmental Science and a BFA from Cornell University and have moved across the country working various seasonal ornithology jobs since graduating in 2019.

After four years of moving around to work field biologist jobs, I’ve filled dozens of sketchbooks with memories and field notes from stints at different research stations. Although I feel compelled to continue researching the natural communities I love, I've chosen to reconnect with my artistic practice full-time. I want to feel equipped with the artistic sensibilities and conceptual language necessary to advocate for wildlife conservation in a changing world. I hope to grow as a scientific communicator by immersing myself in the formal study of scientific illustration.
