Ken Naganawa

I have been interested in both art and biology since my childhood. During my experience with nature, my interest expanded to include behavior and evolution. I chose Biology as my major and earned a MS for animal ecology in Tokyo Metropolitan University, but I learned that science could be combined with art, not only to visualize aesthetically, but to be precise and accurate. Some issues including invasive species or climate change are severe, but not yet disseminated enough. I felt that I could contribute my skill to society by communicating science to people who are not familiar with it.
